Born in Frankfurt, Germany.

Studied Fine Arts at Reading University, UK; Slade School of Fine Arts, University College London, UK, and Whitney Independent Study Program, New York. PhD at Department of Art and Professions, NYU, New York. Teaches at Parsons School of Design, New York. Lives and works in New York City.
